'Big in Japan' is born out of the artists fascination with the process of creation, as design emerges from an abstract concept. The artist will chip away at this concept, smoothing out all aspects of the idea, until something formal is borne from a mind polluted by the panorama of the everyday.

"We are but a finite collection of moments, a playlist of all we have collected in our lives."

The work is presented as a timestamp of a beautiful moment which is one of realisation. A miniature monument to remind us of who we are in the now, but also of what we can be when we dream.
