The Mojave Dining Table is a monumental work of collectible design that balances sculptural presence with material refinement. Spanning four metres in length, the table is defined by its commanding scale and tactile richness.

The base features three cast bronze legs whose asymmetrical forms subtly reference the branching structure of Joshua Trees. The exterior of each leg is patinated in rich, dark tones, while the hollow interiors are finished in a lighter tone to emphasize their dimensionality and internal contours. The result is a dynamic interplay between mass and void, surface and shadow.

The tabletop is finished with a cracked earth texture that runs the full length of the surface. The patina is layered with a blend of scorched browns, sun-faded ochres, and ash tones, evoking parched desert terrain and the passage of time etched into the land.

Designed by Caleb Zipperer exclusively for Charles Burnand Gallery, the Mojave Dining Table is a testament to material exploration and sculptural intent — conceived not only as a functional object, but as a landscape in its own right.
