Part of the Strata series, this table continues the translation of inner terrain into functional form. Shaped through the iterative cycle of layering and carving, its surfaces carry the traces of both erosion and growth, where sweeping forms emerge and dissolve back into the larger mass. Ground abrasive marks record the friction of separation, where raw wood emerges against the deep black finish, before the elements fuse once again.

Crafted from Ash, the piece embodies solidity, yet its refined contours and material tensions evoke a quieter delicacy. As with the wider series, the table becomes a meditation on layers of matter mirroring layers of self, where fracture and repair become part of the form’s ongoing narrative.
