We Come From Far Away visualises a meteorite-like form arriving from deep space, where embedded crystal structures gradually erode and transform the base material.

This process symbolises the intersection of foreign and organic elements, creating new, hybrid forms. Echoing mineral geometry and the artist’s ongoing Primitive Structures theme, the work reflects on early human instincts for straight-line construction, contrasted with nature’s curves. Inspired by the image of a decaying tree overtaken by an alien presence, the piece explores transformation, erosion, and the emergence of a raw, primitive vitality from within material convergence.
