The Glacier Bar was deigned and commissioned by Brooklyn based designer, Lauren Mishaan, for a private client. The bar has a monolithic feel with the use of only 2 materials on the exterior and one for the interior. Mishaan wanted to play with material textures; smooth polished selenite for the top and split selenite adorns the top third of the exterior. Solid brass framing with custom woven brass wraps the bottom section of the bar. The interior is finished in American walnut with high gloss lacquer.
