The Primitive Structures series investigates archetypal forms of construction, referencing prehistoric monuments such as dolmens and megaliths. These works explore the spatial and symbolic language of balance, mass, and assembly, evoking a timeless architectural sensibility rooted in human instinct and ritual.
Rather than functioning as static objects, each piece embodies a quiet sense of transformation. Slight displacements, asymmetries, and tilting forms suggest processes of erosion, shift, and renewal. The structures appear both grounded and impermanent, proposing a material poetics that reflects on resilience, imperfection, and the passage of time.
