Unearthed Forms translates natural processes such as erosion, crystallization, and fracturing into a sculptural language, exploring the forms generated through the accumulation of time. This work goes beyond merely unearthing shapes; it attempts to visualize traces left by existence and reveal the narratives embedded within.
As the title suggests, Scotty is an homage to the famous T. rex fossil, drawing multiple inspirations from actual unearthing sites. Features such as the stratified layers and the spine-like structure are clear examples of this influence.
