The transparent green handle features the beginning of Fredrik’s mobile phone number rendered in red glass. The sides are formed from flat glass sheets cast from fragments of earlier works, reusing material previously handled by the artist.
Fredrik further incorporated his phone number through screen printing, embedding it directly into the glass once it had cooled.
The work is driven by a process-based approach, drawing a parallel to painting, where a surface is built up gradually, layer by layer.
