This series of work is named after the mathematician George Boole (1815-1864), who is best known as the author of The Laws of Thought (1854), which contains Boolean algebra. Boolean logic, essential to computer programming, is credited with helping to lay the foundations for the Information Age. In relation to this series of my work, he developed the original calculations that allow the subtraction of one solid mass from another in computer generated 3D worlds, known as a Boolean operand.
