PAD London: States of Resolution

Charles Burnand Gallery presents States of Resolution at PAD London 2026, bringing together new works by Niamh Barry, David Clarke, Myungtaek Jung, Kyeok Kim, Peter Lane, Yanxiong Lin, Ian Milnes and Jan Waterston. The presentation spans illuminated sculpture, ceramics, bronze, carved timber and sculptural furniture.

The exhibition explores moments of clarity within each artist’s practice. Some works take familiar ideas to a new scale; others move in new directions through a deeper understanding of material and form. Together, they reflect practices shaped by sustained enquiry and growing confidence.

Rather than recreating a complete room, States of Resolution offers carefully composed fragments of an interior. Each work is given the space to command attention, inviting visitors to consider how it might be encountered and lived with over time.
